My home QTH is in New Jersey, about 50km West of New York City. I run an FT-1000 Mark V, Icom IC-7000 and an AL-1200 amp on all bands from 10-160. On my 70' crank-up tower I have a Force-12 C31XR for 10, 15 & 20, a little WARC-band yagi, and wires for 40, 80 and 160m. See ya in the pileups!

IC738 Help...
I recently powered up my Icom 738 after a few years of storage. When in SSB mode. I can't tune in the signal to the point where I can clearly hear the transmission. Any Ideas ??? I'd hate so spend a fortune for repair if I don't need to. Thanks. JBrysonjr@comcast.net

Your Favorite Radio:
A contributor asks, “What one transceiver did you have, now no longer in production, would you purchase again if it were back on the market? It would be exactly as originally manufactured. No extra bells and whistles added though improved components would be allowed.”

Here is a picture of my ham station I have set up in my apartment. I am using a G5RV Jr. Which is on the roof of the apartment but only 20 foot up on a mast and a long wire. I work 80,40,20,15 & 10 meters with the aid of an antenna tuner. Apartment operating is a challenge but Old hams never give up!
