W5GNB in 1962....

The RX was a BC-312 with a 6bz6 Preamp/Converter for 15 meters. Transmitters were a Heath DX-35 which sat on 3.838Mhz (The New Mexico Roadrunner Net at that time) and a Homebrew pair of 6146's with an Electron-coupled crystal oscillator. I had a handfull of CRYSTALS and a windom antenna. The power supply for the 6146 transmitter sits under the table. I worked the world on this old setup, it was CW ONLY!!
