Spotlight KI4TMM/AG /MM sv Makai
KI4TMM/AG /MM sv Makai Ships station consits of ICOM 802, AT130 tuner and a Shakespear 390 23ft whip. (just added a Yaesu VX7R for local use in the DC area). Became interested in HAM after cruising in the southern Caribe and South America for almost 3 years. Marine HF is great, but HAM band access would have allowed us more contact with our cruising HAM friends as well as the Landlubber HAMs.

Shack Showcase VE7ABC- My Retreat
VE7ABC- My Retreat This is where I like to spend some of my spare time, when I'm not working on my 74 Challenger. The station setup is Yaesu FT920 for 40 & 80 meters, fed into an inverted vee. The ICOM IC765, IC2KL and the AT500 see duty on 10, 15 & 20, fed into a 6 element Wilson at 50 feet. Both rigs are hooked into the computer for logging and control purposes. I enjoy rag chewing, dx chasing and contesting from My Retreat.
