W2ARP closet Shack.

My Shack is in a closet off of our "work out" room on the second floor of our QTH. I use two computers in the shack, a laptop computer is used for Logging and the desk top computer is used for look-ups, Contest logging, DX clusters, Packet and VoIP. All the computers are networked via a small LAN to a DSL MODEM. My HF rig is a 100 watt ICOM IC-725, with two HF antennas, a 3-element tri-band beam and an inverted “V”. For 2 meters I have an all mode Kenwood with a 10-element beam. On 6 meters I have an Alinco. I also run the SCARA packet station / BBS with a TNC and an old Motorola radio on 2 meters.

DXCC Status
A contributor states, "Currently there are only two countries that do not issue Amateur Radio licenses to their citizens, Yemen and North Korea. Thousand of deserving Ham's worldwide who enjoy working DX are shut out of any hope of obtaining the #1 Top of the Honor Roll status due to this. It would seem rational that these two countries (and any others who take a similar position) should be deleted from the official DXCC list in view of this. Why recognize a country on the DXCC list that does not recognize Amateur Radio? What say you?"
